We exist to create opportunities for children with severe disabilities to participate fully in play, social activities and community life - experiences that are too often inaccessible or unavailable to them. We want to make the impossible, possible.

Who is eligible for the 1-1 Childcare program? Children must live within a 5-mile catchment area and meet at least two areas of significant support needs (Communication and Interaction, Personal Care and Independence, Challenging Behaviour, or Additional Health Conditions). An assessment process and phone call are required to determine eligibility.
What types of 1-1 childcare sessions are available? An after-school club and holiday playschemes are available for 5–19 year olds. (Please note: Overnight adventure holiday respite breaks for ages 8+ are currently on hiatus) .
How do I book a 1-1 childcare spot? An application form is sent out prior to the project. Because the program is oversubscribed, meeting the criteria does not guarantee a spot; a lottery system is used to fairly distribute spaces, and you will be notified if you are successful.
