family play
We run a variety of play, care and family projects that support our young people and their families.
family play sessions explained

Family play sessions are designed for 0 to 16-year-olds, giving families a dedicated space to come and play together at our playhouse.
These sessions are exclusively for any family who has a young person with special educational needs and learning disabilities (SEND). You do not need to qualify for Yorda Adventure clubs to attend these sessions.

Varied sessions on Saturdays and Sundays during term time. Varied weekday sessions in the school holidays.
out of school forest adventures

Perfect for out of school SEN kids (ages 5 to 13)! We kick things off outside in our forest for exploring, crafting, and campfire cooking, then head into the Playhouse for a safe, indoor play session.

These sessions are held on a Monday during term time. (Just a heads-up: A parent or carer must stay for the fun—these are not drop-off sessions!)

we exist to create opportunities for children with severe disabilities to participate fully in play, social activities and community life - experiences that are too often inaccessible or unavailable to them. We want to make the impossible, possible.
