We rely on donations and grants to keep our beloved playhouse running, any support is much appreciated.

A Short History of Yorda
We are a charity based in Chessington, Surrey that provides play and care for severely disabled children. We have been established since 2006 and now have a permanent home; the Yorda Playhouse is where we have been based since 2016. We feel very lucky to have this unique space to be able to create a safe environment where all our children can be themselves.

Public Support

Corporate Support
Here at Yorda we encourage local businesses to get involved in volunteering days to learn more about us and about themselves! Our Playhouse and surrounding grounds often need tending to and so having large groups come in to assist with this helps us get the jobs done that our small team need extra hands to help with! We’ve had many successful days, with visits from Lloyds, Tomy UK, Trustpilot, Family BSOC, The Surbiton Rotary and more!
